Being proved wrong is not always a bad thing.

Have you ever thought you were really going to dislike a task you have to do but in the end really end up enjoying yourself?...I know I have.

Dull and boring were the first things that came to mind when my English teacher told our class our next reading assignment would be to read Frankenstein and blog about it. I love to read and I thoroughly enjoy English class but having to read old English is not something I relish in. To my surprise my mind was quickly changed when I began reading the first few pages of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. I was really intrigued when I started to read about and fully comprehend Captain Walton's expedition and the loneliness he felt. He is an extraordinary character with a huge heart. I was greatly surprised when he took in Victor Frankenstein when he found he almost frozen to death and cared for him so intensely. Furthermore, I felt like both men instantly felt a bond between the two of them even thought they had only just meet. I'm really looking forward to watching this story unfold and continue to be proved wrong about my initial thoughts on the novel.
